What's Next

Another book to be published by the author will give the reader a glimpse of what it's like on the"deathbed" - what to expect when your time comes and what you can do to help manage your own symptoms while lying in bed appearing helpless to everyone else.

 FINAL NOTE:

Some people prepare for death and when that time comes they are ready; however, most of us feel when death comes it's forced upon us. We act as if it is foreign and we have never heard of it. It's easier not to talk about it. But we must talk. Preparation brings comfort. Ignoring something that's a part of life doesn't make it go away

Brenda, as I read your book, I realized how helpful it is. You have made the world aware of what to expect and what to do at a difficult time in their lives. This will certainly help me prepare for my own death.”

“As a Senior Citizen that has more yesterdays than I do tomorrows, I was very impressed with CNA's Guide to Caring For a Dying Patient. It gave me insight and hope that I will be blessed enough to have such a compassionate “friend” to help me and my family make that ultimate transition an easy one.”
–Tommie, 85, Mesquite, TX

“God bless you, Brenda! After reading your book and knowing how you care for your patients, I feel my family and I will have that special person to help us prepare for the end of life on this earth. Thank you.”
–Ginny, 88, Mesquite, TX

“Brenda, as I’ve studied your book and the upcoming PowerPoint presentation on this material, I keep thinking of more and more ways for people to benefit from understanding these concepts. The CNAs will be at a great advantage. Nurses and doctors will be jealous! Nursing home directors will want to make these available to the families of the residents that live there. Funeral directors will want to make these available to those who prepay their funeral expenses. You have learned so much from your experiences, and now you’re sharing your knowledge in as succinct a way as possible with those that can benefit from it the most! I’m thankful to be able to learn all these things, and I’m going to make sure all my senior friends have access to this knowledge, too. To God be the glory!”
